In September 2023 we began the journey of expanding our Eynsham Shed!

Ever since Jessie started JAS in 2015 she’d always wanted a ‘destination’ place. One big location.

So when the shop next door came up for rent we knew we had to consider it. We spent a few weeks going back and forth over our options, looking at whether it was even possible to connect the 2 spaces and working out the costs (scarily large!) and decided after a huge amount of thought that we needed to go for it and have faith that it would work! Ahh!

This meant a HUGE amount of work had to happen. We put everything into this new space and the cost alone of cutting through the original Shed into the newer one was huge. Why did we do it then? Because we believed so much in what we do. Our passion for spreading the joy of creativity has grown tenfold over the years we’ve been doing what we’ve been doing and that what The Shed stands for truly matters!

JAS has always been about so much more than us earning money. It’s a place where people can connect, where you’ll always be met with friendly faces, where creativity can happen freely and where you can be completely yourself. In a world where the High Street is struggling and businesses are being forced to close we wanted to fight to prove that businesses like ours are an integral part of society.

So we Crowdfunder for this new project. Our goal was to fundraise £5000, which would cover the cost of cutting through and partial costs for setting the space up, and thanks to you guys, we managed to raise over £6000 and to say thank you, below is everyone who donated to our project and was happy to have their name mentioned.
