Mythical Maps - Lesson Plan
This project is all about ancient maps and magical places. Students will use rice to create a unique shaped island and then mixed media to bring it to life! In this lesson plan you have some inspiration pictures from our own students, a worksheet, images to print and all the detailed steps you’ll need to run an art lesson we can guarantee your students will love!
Length of Project: 2 - 3 hours
Suggested Age: 7 - 13 year olds
Materials Needed: A3 Watercolour Card, Watercolours, Uncooked Rice, Pencils, Rubbers, Paper, Paint Brushes, Lighter or Candle & Matches and Black Fine Liners.
Extra Info: All our projects are broken down into hour lessons, you can of course adapt and do longer or shorter sessions should you wish to.
